Moving Forward

We have begun a new year with all the festivities of 2024 behind, and the future before us.  The Lord gave us a great year giving us many opportunities to be a blessing in the churches as we gave a report of our recent ministry and a review of what God has done over the years we served in Brazil.  We are now moving forward as the Lord opens doors both here in the US and in Brazil.  In the next couple of weeks, we hope to have a web page functioning.  With it, we can more easily communicate to all who are praying for us and make available materials for Bible study and devotionals in Portuguese and in English.  We already have material waiting to be posted and are hoping that it will be a blessing and encouragement to all who use it.

Coming Opportunities

Beginning the 17th of February, Don will be giving a study by way of Google Meet to a group of at least six people in Brazil.  The study will be on the Pentateuch.  One of our former disciples made contact asking if he could set this study up.  Some of those who will be attending have been studying with him, but he wanted them to study the Pentateuch with his former professor.  This is going to be a new experience for all of us.  Please pray that the Lord will give wisdom and direction in all aspects of the connection and study.  Our prayer is that those who are involved will be founded in the important truths found in the first five books of the Bible so that they can be used where they are, some 5,000 miles away from here.

We have been asked to participate in a missions conference in April and are looking forward to the opportunity.  Surely, there will be youth and young adults attending that we can challenge to answer God’s call and to trust Him by obeying that call.

We Want to Help

Please pray that the Lord will open doors for us to be a blessing in the churches here in the US.  Over the years, the Lord has led us to prepare materials to promote and teach about missions.  Bible study material we prepared in Portuguese is being translated into English and will be made available as well.  We are always available to preach in any service or to participate in a missions conferences.
