Dear Faithful Friends,
Web Page Online
Our web page is now available with personal and ministerial information. This is a new experience, and we are still learning how to keep things up to date. There is a calendar which gives the dates that we are available to minister in churches. If you are interested in having Don to be in your church, you can check the dates on the calendar. There are sermons available. Eventually, there will be Bible studies and resources from our years of ministry in Brazil. For now, the blog will be weekly. Our latest prayer letter will also be available along with any special prayer requests. Our desire is to be a blessing and encouragement to all who go to the site. The address of the site is donleaf.com.
Ministry Opportunities
Since our last letter, we have had several opportunities to preach and minister. God blessed in each case with one person being saved in Gladewater, TX. The Lord also gave us the opportunity to preach in Haltom City, TX; Burleson, TX; and Denton, TX. We thank the Lord for giving us these opportunities.
Linda’s Health
This week, Linda ran her semi-annual breathing tests. The doctor was more than pleased with the results because they show that the medication is functioning. The Lord is hearing and answering your prayers.
Thank You Lord
We are thankful how the Lord is working in our grandchildren’s lives. Melissa graduated from college and is working in her field of internation business. Elisabeth was accepted to study as a Physician Assistant. Jonathan is a paramedic in Minneapolis, MN area. In May, Bruno will finish school with a degree in cyber security. Lucas is applying to dental colleges. Our next three (Eloise, Emily and Levi) are doing well in elementary and middle school. Even the youngest, Elena, is outstanding in pre-school. We thank the Lord for each one and His working in their lives.
We wish each of you a blessed holiday season. Thank you for your faithfulness to us this past year by your prayers and giving.
Prayer Requests
We thank you for your constant prayers. God is truly blessing and using us for His glory. Please pray for:
- Our son Benjamin in Brazil being treated for urinary tract infection will have surgery on November 26.
- Pastor Nilton Malves a friend since 1976 is being treated for prostate cancer.
- Sandra Canato, who has been like an adopted daughter, has a problem that the doctors have not been able to access. Her husband, Fernando, just recently lost his job.
- A dear brother, Roberto, has heart and kidney issues.
Your servants,
Don & Linda Leaf
